Kyrsanidis rules Red Bull Art of Motion once again

Dimitris Kyrsanidis’s massive tricks on the white-washed roofs of Santorini handed him a second win.
Local boy Dimitris 'DK' Kyrsanidis of Greece flipped, jumped, spun and dropped his way to an impressive freerunning victory at the Red Bull Art of Motion 2015 finals on Saturday, winning the title for the second straight year on a challenging natural track on Santorini, Greece.
Winning the fifth annual event of urban artists on the picturesque Greek island of Santorini with a breathtaking array of gravity-defying tricks over the white-washed roofs and ledges overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, the 20-year-old local hero Dimitris Kyrsanidis had a brilliant run. Thousands of frenzied spectators in Oia watched the world’s most important freerunning competition from every available inch of rooftops, balconies and church bell towers.
Packing ten nearly flawless tricks into his awe-inspiring run, Kyrsanidis collected 467 points out of a maximum 600 points in the finals from the panel of judges with his run full of unique, creative flips and fluid movements.
It’s unbelievable! I’m really excited. I don’t know how to explain my feelings. I don’t know how to express them. I’ll be here again next year and will have something new.
