      EuroLeague: Lokomotiv tame Panathinaikos in Krasnodar



      Lokomotiv Kuban registered the first victory in EuroLeague Group C. They held off visiting Panathinaikos in Krasnodar today. Chris Singleton (206-F-89, college: Florida St., agency: Stealth Sport) stepped up with 16 points and 9 rebounds to pace the Russian team. 
      Panathinaikos got to a very quick start. They enjoyed a 14:4 lead early in the game. The Greek team arrived at the first break up by 4 points 21:17. But Lokomotiv fired on all cylinders in the second period. The hosts poured in 28 points to gain a 4-point halftime lead. Panathinaikos stopped the rot in the third term. They pulled within 2 points at the final intermission. Lokomotiv however held their opponents to just 9 points in the fourth term and raced to the win. 
      Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89, college: Virginia Tech, agency: ASM Sports) tossed in 14 points, while Victor Claver (206-PF-88, agency: Wasserman Media) added 13 points in the win. Miroslav Raduljica (213-C-88, agency: APAA Sports Group) responded with 15 points for Panathinaikos. Dimitris Diamantidis (196-PG-80, agency: Agency) netted 14 points in the loss.
