    Barcelona stun Rayo Vallecano 5-2

Barcelona have moved level on points with Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table after defeating Rayo Vallecano 5-2 at Camp Nou. Neymar was the star of the show for the Blaugrana as he scored four goals, but the Catalan giants had to come from behind after Javi Guerra opened the scoring for the visitors early on.
Barca were only behind for seven minutes as the Brazil international won and converted a penalty after he was upended in the box by Diego Llorente, and it was deja vu ten minutes later as he again scored from the spot to give Luis Enrique’s side the advantage at the break.
Rayo came out for the second half with renewed vigour and could have drawn level when Guerra was played through by Razvan Rat, but his right foot strike was saved well by Claudio Bravo.
Lass Bangoura then fired into the side netting after a mistake by Gerard Pique but the visitors were made to pay for their missed chances as Neymar scored two goals in two minutes to seal the three points for the hosts.
Luis Suarez then got in on the act with 13 minutes to play as he volleyed home in skilful fashion after Neymar played a sumptuous ball into the box.
Rayo did manage to score a late consolation goal after Barcelona failed to clear a Rat cross which led to Jozabed firing home from 12 yards, but it was not enough for Paco Jemez’s side.
Barcelona have now moved above Villarreal and Celta Vigo in the table and have put to bed their defeat to Sevilla last time out, whilst Rayo remain just a point above the drop zone.
