Arsenal scout watches Northern Ireland vs Greece

Arsenal scout Brian McDermott was pictured at Windsor Park yesterday evening where he was watching Northern Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifying victory over Greece.

 He was rumoured to be in attendance to watch Olympiacos midfielder Kostas Fortounis, who impressed against the Gunners in the Greek club’s recent 2-3 Champions League victory at the Emirates.

 On that occasion, the 23-year-old impressed as he created two of the three goals.

But if Fortounis was the intended target of the scouting mission, McDermott was out of luck last night. He was an unused substitute as Greece slumped to a 3-1 defeat.
