Lierse had verbally agreed with 11-time Greek champions AEK to send Karim on a season-long loan, with an option for an additional two-year extension, but despite passing his medical in Athens, the move collapsed due to a couple disagreements between the two clubs, which was revealed exclusively by KingFut.com.
