Manchester United extended their unbeaten league run at Villa Park to 20 years

Adnan Januzaj celebrates scoring his side’s first goal

A first-half goal from Adnan Januzaj was enough to handManchester United a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League this evening.
The Belgian scored his first Premier League goal in almost 18 months to give Louis van Gaal's side their second win in two outings so far this season.
Having started with a 1-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday, Januzaj struck in the 29th minute to secure another three points.
Januzaj broke the deadlock after Juan Matathreaded a clever pass through the left side of the Villa defense.
The United midfielder showed neat footwork to evade a challenge from Micah Richard before firing a deflected, low shot that glanced in off the base of the far post.
United should have made it 2-0 when Mata sent through a long defense-splitting pass in the 73rd, but Memphis Depay's first-time shot was wide of the target.
