Eddie Murphy is expecting his ninth child. Yes, you read that right -- ninth.
The Oscar-nominated comedian is expecting his first baby with girlfriend Paige Butcher, his rep confirmed to The Times on Wednesday.
"Eddie Murphy and long-time girlfriend Paige Butcher are pleased to announce that they are expecting a child in May," his rep said in a statement.
Murphy, 54, and Butcher, 36, an actress and model, have been dating for about four years and hit the red carpet together in mid-October when the "Saturday Night Live" alum was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
