Pablo Sanchez strike breaks Adelaide's duck

An early goal from Pablo Sanchez has guided Adelaide United to their first win of the season, the Reds hanging on to claim a 1-0 win over Perth Glory on Sunday evening.
In a match that saw kick-off at Coopers Stadium delayed 2.5 hours due to soaring temperatures in Adelaide, it was the Reds’ reinstated players that applied the blowtorch.
Sanchez, who was named in the eleven in place of the suspended Craig Goodwin, netted the decisive goal with just two minutes on the clock and was ably supported by Marcelo Carrusca, who was handed his first start in four matches.
The Glory were not without their chances, with Sidnei Sciola, Diego Castro and Richard Garcia all guilty of spurning strong chances in front of goal.
