State extended their run of consecutive home victories to 31 by beating Utah
103-85 on Wednesday, going to Christmas with a dominant 11-1/2 game lead in the
NBA Pacific Division.
The
Warriors' 27-1 record puts them three games ahead of the next-best team in the
Western Conference, with San Antonio keeping up the pressure with another big
win over Minnesota.
It
was a good day for divisional leaders, with Atlanta defeating Detroit, Cleveland
beating an undermanned New York and Oklahoma City steamrolling the hapless Los
Angeles Lakers.
Golden
State's Klay Thompson scored 20 points, Stephen Curry had 16 and nine assists
while Andrew Bogut rounded out a good day for the Warriors with 10 points and
13 rebounds.
The
Warriors have won all 13 home games this season to add to the final 18 at
Oracle Arena last season.
Next
up for Golden State is a Christmas Day game against Cleveland in a reprise of
last season's NBA Finals.

Antonio dominated the boards in winning 108-83 at Minnesota; their 22nd

Nowitzki
also made the go-ahead basket with 19.2 seconds left in overtime to lead the
Mavs past Brooklyn 119-118.
