Tyler Dorsey Called Up To Play for Greek National Team

Oregon Ducks guard Tyler Dorsey will have a chance to play in the 2016 Olympics, but it won't be for Team USA.
Dorsey, who holds dual-citizenship with the United States and Greece was called up to the Greek national roster for their upcoming Olympic tournament, according to EuroHoops.net.
The Greek National Team will play in an Olympic Qualifying tournament July 4th to the 9th in Italy with hopes of getting to Rio, Brazil for the 2016 Olympics.
Mexico, Iran, Tunisia, Croatia, and Italy are also playing in the qualifying tournament.
This past summer, before Dorsey joined the Oregon program, Dorsey played for the Greek U19 National Team in the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championships.
Dorsey went on to make the all-tournament team by averaging 15.9 points, five rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
According to DuckTerritory.com sources, Dorsey was offered a chance to play with the U20 Greek team for the 2015 U20 European Championships, but elected to head to Eugene to prepare for his freshman season.
At Oregon as a freshman, Dorsey averaged 13.4 points. 4.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game and was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team. He has currently entered the NBA Draft, but hasn't hired an agent and could return to school. The deadline to withdraw is May 25th.
