World No. 1 Novak Djokovic raised his game Saturday to overcome the challenge of rising Greek-Australian teenager Thanasi Kokkinakis, beating the 19 year old 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the Roland Garros fourth round.
The 28-year-old Djokovic is looking to win Roland Garros for the first time and become just the eighth man in history to complete the career Grand Slam after Andre Agassi,Don Budge, Roy Emerson, Roger Federer, Rod Laver, Rafael Nadal and Fred Perry.
The Belgrade native has twice been runner-up at Roland Garros, losing to Rafael Nadal in the 2012 and 2014 title matches.
Next up for Djokovic will be either home hopeRichard Gasquet or Kevin Anderson
