Swedish fans storm field, attack Henrik Larsson son after team is relegated

Swedish club Helsingborgs IF was relegated on Sunday, after falling 2-1 in a match to Halmstad. It’s the first time in 23 years that the club has been relegated to the second division, and the fans were not pleased.
Following the final whistle, the fans were apoplectic, and when 19-year-old striker Jordan Larsson tried to go over to calm them down (or confront them, perhaps), they ran out on the field, ripped his shirt off, and shoved him.
Larsson is the son of team manager (and Sweden soccer legend) Henrik Larsson, and after he was shoved, he had to be restrained by teammates and coaches as he was ready to fight just about everyone.
The fact that the fans came in masks suggests that they weren’t just there to enjoy some Sunday afternoon soccer — they came with a purpose, and the speed with which they got down on the field suggests they were ready to cause trouble from the start.
