    Lyon v Besiktas chaos: Children caught in violent clashes as fans fight and throw missiles

    LYON and Besiktas' Europa League quarter-final was delayed after violence erupted in the stands at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

    Individuals from both sets of fans were involved in  ahead of kick-off in Lyon, with many younger supporters being caught up in the chaos inside the stadium.
    Fans were forced to invade the pitch to escape the carnage, causing the quarter-final first leg to be delayed by 45 minutes.
    Stewards and police eventually restored order inside the stadium, with Ryan Babel handing Besiktas the lead when the match finally got under way.
