Giannis Antetokounmpo is on track to set an insane NBA record

Giannis Antetokounmpo came to the NBA equipped with the perfect nickname: The Greek Greak.
Antetokounmpo has been one of the NBA's best up-and-coming stars since being drafted with the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, helping turn Milwaukee into a respectable basketball team.
His development has been rapid, and the do-it-all swingman is on track to make NBA history at the rate he's producing this season. Antetokounmpo is like a Swiss army knife, able to affect basketball games in a variety of ways. The numbers behind his season show just that.
Antetokounmpo is on track to be the first player in NBA history to finish the season in the top-20 in total points, rebounds, assists steals and blocks, as noted by ESPN Stats and Info on Twitter:

Giannis leads the Bucks in points (23.2), rebounds (8.6), assists (5.5) blocks (1.9), steals (1.8) and minutes (35.7) per game. That's an incredible accomplishment for any player, and exactly why Antetokounmpo's star power is only growing.
He's also only 22 years old and has shown improvement every year since being drafted by Milwaukee. Clearly he's one of the best players in the NBA already, with plenty of room to grow.
Given that information, it's easy to see why the Bucks are fighting for a playoff spot despite Jabari Parker being out for the season due to a torn ACL. The Greek Freak is a perfect fit in the modern NBA, able to play and defend multiple positions and impact the game in every way.
The Bucks will have to continue leaning on Antetokounmpo to carry them through the final stretch of the regular season with the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets all within striking distance of the No. 8 seed.
Milwaukee could also move up in seedings by overtaking the Detroit Pistons or Indiana Pacers, with a very tight race in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference creating an interesting story to watch through the final 20-something games left in the season.
No matter how the playoff seedings shake out, fans should appreciate what Giannis has quietly done in Milwaukee. His jump from playing overseas to the NBA has been incredible to watch, and he's established himself as one of the best under-23 players.
If his play holds up, he'll set a record that could stand for a very long time.
This would be a freakishly amazing achievement for Giannis, and proof that doing a little bit of everything goes a very long way.
