Mancester City victorious as Aston Villa, Chelsea lose

Manchester City have eased fears they may slip out of the Premier League's top four with a come-from-behind win over West Bromwich Albion.
West Brom midfielder Stephane Sessegnon scored the game's first goal, squeezing the ball past Man City keeper Joe Hart at his near post -- but the Frenchman turned from hero to villain soon after, tripping Aleksander Kolarov and giving away a penalty.
Lethal Argentine forward Sergio Aguero stepped up and made no mistake as he drilled the ball beyond Baggies stopper Ben Foster.
Samir Nasri sealed the game for City in the 66th minute, a delightful Kevin De Bruyne pass to Aguero eventually falling to him to tap into an empty net.
Elsewhere Aston Villa are all but relegated after losing 2-1 to fellow strugglers Bournemouth at Villa Park.
Steve Cook and Joshua King put the Cherries 2-0 up before Jordan Ayew -- one of Villa's few positives to take out of this campaign -- pulled one back late on.
Chelsea also suffered a loss, albeit inconsequential, with Swansea picking up three points at the Liberty Stadium to condemn Guus Hiddink to his first league defeat since taking over as Chelsea manager in December.
The result leaves the Swans 13 points from the drop, essentially securing their spot in the Premier League for next season.
Two goals in first half stoppage time saw Everton draw with Watford at Vicarage Road -- Jose Holebas cancelling out James McCarthy's calm finish.
Crystal Palace saw off relegation-threatened Norwich with a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park, while fellow strugglers Newcastle lost 3-1 to Southampton.
The Saints were simply too strong for the Magpies, Shane Long capitalising on some typically poor defending to the scoring in just the 4th minute, before Graziano Pelle and Victor Wanyama put the game beyond reach.
Former Tottenham winger Andros Townsend scored a consolation for Newcastle.
