The Phoenix may be unveiling a star-signing when they hold a media conference in Wellington later today.
Reports in Australia suggest the Phoenix have signed Melbourne Victory striker Kosta Barbarouses on a multi-year contract believed to be worth 750 thousand dollars a year.
It's believed the Phoenix have been holding off on announcing the signing ahead of the ratification of their A-League license extension.
The A-League club has called a media conference for midday which will be fronted by chairman Rob Morrison, amid reports they've agreed terms with Football Federation Australia.
