Sydney FC international marquee Marc Janko will leave the
Sky Blues when his contract expires at the end of this month, the A-League club
announced on Sunday night.
The club intimated in a statement that it had come to the
decision over Janko, suggesting that given the number of matches he would miss
due to international commitments for Austria he would not get an extended deal
with this season's A-League runners-up.
The striker arrived in July last year and scored 16 goals to
win the A-League Golden Boot for the 2014/15 season.
