Sergio Aguero to miss Manchester derby after FA confirm three-match ban

SERGIO AGUERO has been banned for three matches by the Football Association after being found guilty of violent conduct.

The Manchester City striker was charged after clashing with West Ham's Winston Reid in the 76th minute of their 3-1 win last Sunday.
Referee Andre Marriner wrote in his match report that he missed the incident despite being yards away.
It meant the FA decided to take retrospective action after reviewing television footage.
The FA statement said: "The club denied the charge and submitted further that, if it was to be found proven, the standard punishment would be clearly excessive.
"On finding the charge proven at a hearing today (Friday 2 September 2016), an Independent Regulatory Commission went on to reject the club’s further claim to decrease the three-match ban."
And a panel of three former match officials unanimously agreed the 28-year-old's actions were worthy of a sending-off offence.
The suspension means Aguero will miss the derby against Manchester United on September 10.
He is also out of the league match against Bournemouth and the EFL Cup game against Swansea
